My father passed away a few years ago. He was a professional Shogi player and taught me everything he knew, passing his love of the game down on to me. But since he passed, my mother has put her every hope of our family becoming something onto me. And I've tried so hard to be the perfect daughter she's always envisioned, but I've only just come to the realization that that simply isn't me. And I refuse to sacrifice my own sense of self just for her sake.
