[ The teenager tilts his head away at the comment. Maybe if it weren't for the familiarity that came with the dance - the nudge of years of friendship - he wouldn't say something more but he nods. ]

After the dragon attack they didn't say that. But they've supposedly been under attack for a while?

[ He shrugs his shoulders a little into the dance pattern. ] I think they're more interested in using us in tools to solve their problems. They pretty much said as much - fix this for us and maybe we'll let you go home.

[ A beat. ] But that depends on how much you want to believe them.
